Our firmware and hardware engineers will develop a custom product to help you or your customers acquire exactly the data you need in the way you want it.

Custom Product Development

Our products have been developed to be intuitive and configurable to meet your needs, but for many applications, you may need something slightly customized.  These customizations could include any of the following:

• Different sensor options
• Different battery / power options
• Customized enclosure / housing
• Custom firmware that triggers off specific events
• Specific wireless communication protocol
• And much more!

If you would like to explore the option of having us develop a custom product, this service has the following phases and deliverables:

1. Requirements Definition - We learn your needs so that we can generate a more detailed quote.
2. Initial Payment & Prototype Development - After approving the quote we require a 25% down payment to begin the project. After receipt, we will begin working on a design that can meet your needs.  
3. Prototype Production - After we provide the design and you approve, we will begin building the prototypes. We require a 50% down payment at this time to begin this effort.
4. Final Product Delivery - After the approval of a single prototype (and likely identification of some small changes) we will finalize the development. The final 25% is due after receiving the final prototypes.

This service typically costs around $20,000 or more depending on the complexity of the analysis needed. We can provide a fixed price quote after hearing your requirements. If the development is more ambiguous and larger than $20,000 we will require a time and materials (T&M) contract.

We do offer a 25% discount if you are willing to allow us to generate and share a case study about our project. You will have final approval on the case study to protect any sensitive information related to the test.
